After 20 years of passionate customer service, and loving to serve people I decided there was a growing market for that kind of detailed attention. Sadly, in this economy that invaluable commodity has been the first corner cut in this economy, combined with over-regulated, and over-taxed corporations forced to take their business offshore.
Also, having a heart for the elderly, and their challenge with new technology, through no fault of their own, I noticed they often get frustrated with how to manage it, and get the most out of it. So, that is a market that I see as a growing market that needs some compassion and patience.
Having said that, I was aware that there were a handful of fairly simple preventive measures that are similar to a very affordable vehicle "lube job" that could make their cyber lives much less intimidating, and much more productive.
That is my goal: To make people's technical lives much less intimidating, and much more productive.
